Professor Ram Ramanathan, he is a professor at the University of Essex Business School, has successfully completed more than 46 research projects across the world with funding more than £7.9 million. His current research projects include: (i) the REAMIT project  funded by the Interreg North West Europe aimed at using big data and IoT technologies for reducing food waste in the agribusiness supply chain (nearly 5.8 million Euro); (ii) the Project Insight funded by the Innovate UK (c. £750,000) for the use of scouting robots in British farms for improving productivity of food supply chains; and (iii) two more Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP).
