Duncan is Head of Procurement for Logistics and Engineering at Marks and Spencer PLC. Prior to that, he worked as Head of Logistics Procurement at various retailers, including Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd, Walgreens Boots Alliance and Tesco Stores Ltd. His main focus is on building collaborative working relationships with 3rd party logistics suppliers to deliver value for retail businesses. He leads all outsourcing and contract management activities for operational suppliers and advises retail businesses on the best opportunities to improve service and reduce cost. He is also a panel judge at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards, as published articles with the University of Sussex and University of Nottingham and holds a BA in Politics and an MSc in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
